Google Sign In allows you to create and access IndiaSEVA account using your Google login credentials (i.e. Gmail account).

  1. Easier access: You don’t need to remember additional login credentials to access your IndiaSEVA account.
  2. Increased security: IndiaSEVA does not store Google usernames and passwords.

Google Sign In is an authentication method that people frequently use to log into websites, and this option is now available to IndiaSEVA users.

Google Sign In allows users to:

  1. Create a IndiaSEVA account.
  2. Access your IndiaSEVA resources.

If a user creates an IndiaSEVA account using Google SignIn, the only information that IndiaSEVA retains is the user’s Email Address, First Name, Last Name, public profile URL,  and profile image. IndiaSEVA will not have access to your emails or any other information.

When connecting your Google account to IndiaSEVA, none of your information in IndiaSEVA is sent to Google.

No. Google is just one option for signing up for IndiaSEVA account. If you prefer to not use this option, you can still sign up independently by selecting one of our other login options, such as Facebook and signup using your email.

If you signed up for IndiaSEVA using your Facebook, or Google account, it's likely that you don't have a IndiaSEVA-specific password to log in.  

If you have disconnected the social login (Google or Facebook), a password is required to log into your IndiaSEVA account. 

Please note: your email address that you used to sign up to IndiaSEVA will act as your IndiaSEVA username. 

To set a password:

  1. Visit the Reset Password page and enter your email address.
  2. Check your inbox for an email from IndiaSEVA. It will contain a link that will take you to a page where you can choose a password for your account.
